Book Review

I haven't posted in a while... (I'm a slacker, and a procrastinator.)

In the past couple weeks I have read the first two books in the Inheritance series by Christopher Paolini and I have to say that I am quite impressed. I highly recommend these to anyone who is already a fan of The Chronicles of Narnia or the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.

The series revolves around the life and adventures of a young boy named Eragon who discovers a dragon egg, which hatches for him and begins an adventure where he becomes a dragon rider.

I found the books to be very easy to read and follow, while at the same time very well thought out. The histories of the people, cultures, races and characters in the book are quite deep, and I am anxiously awaiting the release of book three.
